Husqvarna Viking In-R-Form Plus Batting is an ultra-strong, professional-grade batting alternative designed for quilting, crafting, and structured sewing projects. Unlike traditional batting, this high-quality polyester stabilizer is fusible on both sides, allowing fabric to adhere securely for effortless layering and precise stitching.
Perfect for quilts, bags, home décor, and other structured projects, In-R-Form Plus™ Batting provides exceptional stability, durability, and shape retention while maintaining a soft, flexible feel. Its double-sided fusibility eliminates the need for extra adhesives or basting, making it an ideal choice for projects requiring firm support without stiffness.
Measuring 20” x 30 yards, this versatile fusible batting is a must-have for sewists and quilters seeking professional-quality results with easy application.
How to Use:
How to Use:
- Use a Steam Iron A steam iron is required for proper bonding; hand steamers will not permanently fuse the batting to fabric.
- Set Iron to Wool Setting Adjust your iron to the wool setting for optimal heat and adhesion.
-
Layer the Fabric and Batting
Place In-R-Form Plus™ on the wrong side of the fabric.
Turn the fabric over and cover it with a second fabric piece, wrong side down, sandwiching the batting in between. -
Fuse the Fabric to the Batting
Cover one side of the fabric with a damp cloth.
Press with moderate pressure for 8-10 seconds or until the fabric is fully fused to the batting. - Flip and Repeat Turn the project over and repeat the fusing process on the other side.
- Allow to Cool Let the fabric cool completely before checking the bond. If necessary, repeat pressing for additional adhesion.
-
For Single-Sided Fusing
Place a Teflon ironing sheet or parchment paper under the fusible batting to prevent sticking.
Apply fabric wrong side down and fuse as outlined above.
